Competing on and off the ice

How Cross Check Cancer gamified their fundraising to increase donations

The Brief

Cross Check Cancer is an independent charitable hockey tournament that has been dedicated to raising money for those living with, and fighting, cancer.

Having become frustrated with their previous fundraising platform, Cross Check Cancer felt they needed a better solution to encourage their teams to raise money for their cause.

The ease of set up and location allowed more users to register resulting in more funds being raised. The platform also increased competition by allowing teams to view each others' progress.
